I gotta say, the value for money at Geckos Homestay was incredible. The room was clean and cozy, and we had a peaceful stay surrounded by tropical beauty. The location was great, with easy access to Kelimutu and other attractions. The staff, especially Lopez and Memy, were extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast could've been better, though. Just a small improvement there would've made it perfect.

I loved really helpful and amicable employees.
This was a boutique place to stay with my family members, everything was nice. Room was modern, brand-new and complete with a fantastic sky view in Moni, private bathrooms, for example. The host made my stay very very good.

This place is simply amazing! The owner and his family are incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. The vegetarian food is mouth-watering, and the open-air shower adds a unique touch of nature. The room is cozy and has all the essentials, including a mosquito net. We easily rented a scooter and had a perfect trip to Kelimutu, thanks to their guidance. The location is peaceful, yet close enough to the village. Free hot coffee and tea kept us cozy during the rain. Thank you to Lopez and his family for making our stay perfect!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible bungalow, especially the jaw-dropping outdoor bathroom. The location in the beautiful gardens was perfect for hiking and enjoying outdoor dining. The family who runs the place were super hospitable and entertaining, making our stay a mind-blowing experience. The owner, Lopez, shared fascinating stories about the culture and traditions of Flores. The breakfast with the best banana pancake in Indonesia was just one of many delicious meals. The rooms were simple but had everything we needed, including a mosquito net. We were able to rent a scooter easily and the owner even arranged a driver for a trip to Kelimutu, ensuring we had a perfect view. Despite the rain, we loved chilling in the cozy common area with free hot coffee and tea. The peaceful and quiet location, along with the caring and friendly owner, made our stay absolutely unforgettable.

Garden and Terrace: Nestled in the lush East Nusa Tenggara region, this cozy homestay embraced me with its charming garden and terrace. It felt like stepping into a secret oasis, where I could unwind and soak up the serene vibes amidst vibrant greenery.
Shower temperature variability: The only minor hitch during my stay was the shower temperature, which fluctuated between too hot and too cold.

The room at The Geckos Homestay in Kelimutu was absolute beach vibes. I felt like I was in a tropical paradise with the cozy patio and the refreshing shower in the bathroom. It made me feel relaxed and close to nature.
The only thing I didn't love was the shower - it was a bit small for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might still find it perfectly fine!
